SUMMARY - This Stein advertises the Budweiser Beer Brand.
This mug is ceramic and would be a great addition to your mug collection. It is 5 1/4" tall and has a diameter of 3" and can hold aprox. 16 oz.

The graphic depicts the world famous Clydesdales horses and a horse drawn wagon. There is an eagle logo above the Budweiser beer wagon with the letter A in it. Please see photos.

SUMMARY -  This Toby Jug Mug is a Royal Doulton D.6631 "The Sleuth"


This mug is ceramic and would be a great addition to your mug collection.  It is about 8" tall and has a diameter of 4" and can hold aprox. 16 oz.

It is a depicttion the world famous sleuth Sherlock Holmes.  It has vibrant colors and a bright finish.  The handle is of a magnifying glass and pipe.  On the bottome of the mug it has the Royal Doulton seal and the following words;

CONDITION - Overall this mug is in good condition.  It has no chips or cracks only the most minor wear.

Popular Oktoberfest collectibles are a labor of love

Kathleen Wallace-Greer produces the most-visible and sought-after symbol of the Dayton Art Institute's Oktoberfest — the handmade collectible beer mug.

The Dayton Art Institute has put together a display of each Oktoberfest beer mug but is missing several pieces to fill out the collection. Missing are mugs from 1971, '72, '73, '75, '76. '77. '78, '88. '95 and '98. Anyone who has one of those pieces and would like to add it to the permanent DAI collection should contract Renee Roberts at 223-5277.
