This mug / coffee cup commemorates the US Naval Training Center San Diego, CA.

In the mid-1920s, the City of San Diego hoped to strengthen its economic ties with the military, and offered more than 200 acres of land to the Navy at the north end of San Diego Bay to entice it to move the Recruit Training Station from San Francisco.

The former Naval Training Center (NTC) was transformed into a new urban village called Liberty Station.

This mug is ceramic and would be a great addition to your military mug collection. It was made by the CANN-ART Enterprises, 129 East 8th St. National City, CA. This mug is 3 3/4" tall and can hold aprox. 8 oz. of your favorite blend of Joe.

The graphic is only on one side of the cup please see the photo.
