This mug / coffee cup commemorates the US Naval Ship USS Germantown (LSD 42).
USS GERMANTOWN is the second WHIDBEY ISLAND class dock landing ship and the first ship in her class to serve in the Pacific.
This mug is ceramic and would be a great addition to your military mug collection. It was made by the MIL-ART CHINA CO. Chelmsford, Mass. 01824. This mug is 4 1/2" tall and can hold aprox. 10 oz. of your favorite blend of Joe.
There is a graphic on each side of the cup on one side is the crest of the USS Germantown and on the other side is a graphic of the ship doing amphibious operations. The mug is also personalized with the name Jim Bray and it also has a command emblem. Please see photos.
